From September 14 to October 12, 2020 at 11:59 PM, Capture Photography Festival is accepting Exhibition and Event proposals for inclusion in the juried Selected Exhibitions Program and non-juried Event program. The 2021 Capture Photography Festival runs from April 2–30.
Capture strives to support compelling and diverse lens-based practices, with a focus on critical and challenging work, while nurturing emerging talent. The Festival cultivates partnerships with local and international artists and curators with the goal of collectively presenting compelling lens-based art. Capture is committed to presenting perspectives from diverse backgrounds and members of underrepresented groups.
Capture is pleased to be launching our inaugural Printing Prize with Studio f6o4. At a value of $10,000 CAD, the Printing Prize will be awarded to an artist participating in Capture’s 2021 Selected Exhibition Program. To be considered, please review the details in the submission form below and indicate your interest in being considered by filling out that section of the form.
All proposals will be processed through our submission platform ArtCall. There is a submission fee of $25 for Exhibitions, which includes a 1-year Capture Photography Festival Society membership. There is no Event submission fee. Please note that ArtCall requires account registrations (it’s free!).
